MY BACKGROUND

I am a proud resident of Brampton and Peel. My children have all been attending schools in the Peel District School Board since junior kindergarten and currently enrolled in regional programs (AP and IB) which shows my passion about their overall development and academic progress.

Additionally, I am an active member of the community, some events I participate in include the parent school council meetings at Whaley’s Corners Public School and a few fundraising programs. I have raised concerns about the shortage of activities in schools, lack of homework and inability to complete the syllabus during the academic year.

​

I am also involved with the City for better living for Bramptonians.

  • I continue to advocate for the expedite of the construction of new community center in the South-West area of Brampton as it is very necessary for the growing population.

  • In addition to this, I advocated for crossing guards to help children safely cross streets.

  • Better connectivity of public transit and increase frequency of transit on route no 60 and 58.

  • Play areas for the youth (basketball, soccer) in neighborhood.

  • Traffic light on Financial drive / provost trail for walkers specially school children and other relevant concerns present in the community.
